Suspendido el Gran Premio de Bahrein

El Gran Premio de Bahrein de Fórmula 1, prueba inaugural de la temporada que debía disputarse del 11 al 13 de marzo en el circuito de Sakhir, ha sido cancelado debido a las revueltas que asolan el país del Golfo.

"El circuito internacional de Bahrein ha anunciado que el Reino de Bahrein no acogerá la carrera de Fórmula 1 para que el país pueda centrarse en el proceso de diálogo nacional", reza el comunicado.

Así pues, la primera carrera de la temporada se celebrará el día 27 de Marzo en Melbourne (Australia) (De madrugada en España).
